CORNYVAL
Live music, fun and games, food, arts and crafts and other entertainment is provided for your enjoyment throughout the four days of the festival.
The HFA Rodeo Committee will celebrate its 25th year anniversary with three PRCA rodeo performances, Thursday through Saturday, produced by the Sammy Catalina Rodeo Company. The rodeo will include special performances by Amanda Payne and her buffalo with the One Armed Bandit Rodeo Co. The HFA PRCA Rodeo was honored in 2012 by the WPRA and named "Small Rodeo of the Year" and has received the "Justin Boots Best Footing Award".
Alamo Attractions will present a full carnival midway including thrilling rides, a super ferris wheel, games and amusements. Twenty dollar armbands, good for hours of unlimited rides, will be available Thursday and Sunday. Special prices will be available on Friday and Saturday.
Approximately 75 food and craft booths will fill the grounds with sights, sounds, and smells that will whet your appetite to fill your tummy.

CORNYVAL???? No need to look up the spelling in a dictionary. Cornyval began in 1966 as a way for Helotes non-profit organizations to raise money. Celebrating its 47th consecutive year, Cornyval festivities begin Thursday, May 2nd and run through Sunday, May 5th at the Helotes Festival Grounds. The grounds are located on Leslie Rd. just off of Bandera Rd in Helotes, Texas across from the entry to O'Connor High School.
